Somerset Sand & Stone was established in 1996 with the primary objective of providing a superior supply and delivery service of sand and aggregates to the construction, civil engineering and building industry. We supply and deliver all types of construction and filling sand, crushed stone, gravel, and topsoil. We also remove builder’s rubble, do earthmoving, bulk excavations, digging of foundations and trenches and we demolish buildings. Our plant hire operation includes the hiring of tipper trucks and Cat Digger/Loaders. Our dedication to clients and our passion for service excellence has seen us grow our client base to the extent of servicing clients & projects such as: Belair, De Zalze, Somerset Ridge, Schonenberg Estate and other projects in the Western Cape.

	Somerset Sand & Stone is also associated with GH Building Supplies in Stellenbosch. Together we boast a fleet of 19 Mercedes Tippers, 3 Brick truck and trailer combinations and 5 Cat Digger/Loaders (TLB) Somerset Sand & Stone has also formed a strategic association with South African Women in Construction (SAWIC) through a joint venture BEE company called Mamela Construction Supplies. We support the government's initiative to accelerate women's entry and development in the male dominated construction industry. We pride ourselves on our quality of product and service.
